Colonial Williamsburg Portrayers
The warmest of smiles , even though tired.
The warmest of smiles , even though tired.
After talking for awhile she gave me a very warm and genuine smile. When I told her why I took the photo when I did, she looked at me for a moment and said, "You made it easy. Thank you."
By then her friend came and off they went. My last photo that day was well worth staying the extra hour...

March 9, 1969
On January 3, 1969 I started a new job at a hospital. I met Mary, who was working at that hospital, that same day for the first time ever.
Something clicked for us and we became inseparable from that day on.
In February we became engaged and were married on March 9, 1969. We have been together ever since and by God's grace our love for each other is deeper and stronger than ever.
BTW ... for those wondering - our first of two children did not arrive until four years later...
