Saturday was dreary, rainy and foggy. How many times have you seen your neighborhood in a way that made you want to go out and see it through the lens of your camera?
Just to set the stage, in the first photo, where you see a lot of white in the background, you normally would be seeing a mountain. The fog, which was quite thick, hid the mountain from view. This is one of the few times one can see the trees of the neighborhood without the mountain background being there providing a forest view in which they would blend.
Many times I've wished that my parents had taken more photos of the places where I grew up. Some places I can go back and see them today, but I won't see them as they were 50 or 60 years ago when I lived there.
Hopefully someday my kids will enjoy and appreciate the fact that I documented the areas where I lived since being married 45 years ago. Even if they don't, my wife and I do... :-)
