Canon In The Woods

Remember 3MP cameras? I was looking back through some of my photos from nine years ago and found this one. I had forgotten how good a photo from a 3MP camera could be.

This photo was taken while touring the Yorktown battlefield and the camera was a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC33. It was my first digital camera and I really loved it. It even had a little viewfinder which I did use more than the little screen on the back. I never upgraded until I wore this one out and it just got to the point that it would not turn on no matter what.

So, four cameras later, believe it or not, I still miss the little DMC-LC33. It was small, lightweight and it would fit in my pants pocket; cargo pants were no problem but I always kept it in a little case on a strap wrapped around my waist, much like one would with a holster… Smile
