Color Of Winter #3

Please click on the photo for a better image...

It was early morning. The snow had started to lighten up but it was still coming down. The air also was filled with a slight fog creating shades of gray everywhere.

As I walked out back I could see these Pine Trees covered with snow but the green of the trees looked more black because of the weather. I thought that there are moments in Winter when there is a void of colors and only shades of gray abounds. This was one of those moments.

I photographed these trees and I had to check my camera settings to make sure that it was not set for B&W mode instead of the Normal setting where I keep it. It wasn’t. This is not a B&W photo.

So, there are moments when color is gone, or at least the perception of color, even though you know there is color in the scene. You know it’s there but you don’t see it…
