Moment In Time

Evening Fire

There comes that time, in the Evening, when the light of day is waning and the soft glow of outdoor lighting combines for what I like to call “Evening Fire”.

It’s not always something that is eye catching, but when it is, something comes alive and gives a scene that, most likely, you will never see again. That’s the moment when you either capture that moment or you loose it forever.

This time I was able to capture a special moment in time when I was blessed to vision a most fascinating occurrence of “Evening Fire”…

  1. You have a very good eye for details Glenn. Is it a recent image or one from autumn ?

  2. Thanks Patrick,

Actually this is a recent photo. It is of some decorations that my wife made and put on a welcome sign that we have beside our little deck out back. I was sitting on a swing and as I looked down and saw this, with late evening overhead light, light from an outside lamp and the blue of the shadows all seemed to form what looked like lighting from a fire of some kind. Of course I always have a camera close by, grabbed it and took this photo... :-)
