Moments In Time


Wild Thing

Sometimes I like to deviate from the kind of photography that I normally do and create something different. Wild Thing is an example of that.

I was out on the hillside the other evening and I saw this yellow plant of some kind just coming out of the ground. It was surrounded by the wild grass that was growing around it and it just looked out of place.

I got down low with the camera and basically photographed this image, without looking through the viewfinder, and just holding the camera a couple of inches off of the ground. I then played around with the image in Photoshop Elements just to bring out the color and texture, and to dramatically change the overall look of the photo.
