After A Rain
Softly does the rain come down,
drenching, quenching the thirsty ground.
Upon it's end brings clouds delight,
and takes rains moisture into the night.
From leaf and limb drops fall to ground,
and into puddles makes circles round.
Then night ensues and hides all away,
till morning dawns and brings the day.
So when it rains don't fret or sigh
for rain is good, it's nature's high.
From rain all living things do grow,
rain is God's blessings, seen in a rainbow.
