Travel Photography

When I’m traveling one of the things I like to capture is what the weather was like. Here the sun was shinning and it looked just like a glorious day except it was quite windy. So, I kept wondering how I could depict this without the usual cliché of showing the trees blowing in the wind.

Just about this time this young lady, who was out for a power walk along the river, came by and I noticed how her hair was being blown by the wind. I also saw how this lone tree was being blown in the same direction as her hair. So, I waited. Then as she got into this position I already had the exposure and focus set on my camera and all I had to do was just snap the shutter.

Result - Windy…
