It's the Christmas season and I took this photo, looking West on Baltimore St., so as not to see the street or the people that were on it. I just wanted to show the buildings and the Church at the far end up on the hill.
The photo itself was taken with a DSLR and an 18 - 70mm lens. The ISO was 400 and the settings were 1/640 at f/8. In Photoshop Elements I cropped for the square look and then converted it to a black and white image. I then adjusted for lighting and contrast, added some vignetting and finally gave it an older photograph look. After resizing for web viewing I then added a touch of sharpening to compensate for the loss from the size conversion.
Cumberland is an older town and that was the reason for giving this image an older look. There is much to view in this town as it abounds with beauty, art and heritage.
