A Floral Photograph

The Flower

Basically this was taken with a DSLR and an 18 - 70mm lens racked out to 70mm. The f-stop was f/4.5 at 1/250 sec shutter speed @ an ISO of 400; handheld. In Photoshop Elements there was minimal cropping and I darkened the background and lightened the flower to make it stand out from the background. I added a touch of contrast and some minimal sharpening and that was it.

Please click on the photo to get a better view of this flower in a larger window.

In my world there is a lot of color and my wife likes planting flowers, and I like to photograph what has been successful in her hands.

This is my world, it is quite colorful, and you are welcome to it.
