BW Mode #15… James River - Looking East

The sky was overcast with a slight mist in the air as we visited Jamestown Island. It was still early morning and the fog was just starting to lift off of the River.

It was fascinating to look down the river into a nothingness realizing that the Chesapeake Bay was somewhere out there in the void. Standing there and staring out onto the River seeing what was before us, the morning quiet with only the sound of the small waves coming ashore, there was a feeling of being alone; alone with people all around…
